Stoneleigh is proud to be an Official Port Sponsor of the Auckland Stopover for the 2011/12 Volvo Ocean Race, and will be popping up in the form of an al-fresco garden bar throughout the duration of this highly anticipated event.

Auckland Viaduct will be transformed into a vibrant Race Village from 8 – 18 March for the Auckland Stopover and Te Wero Island will be the entertainment centre for the event and home to the Stoneleigh pop-up bar.

This stunning al-fresco venue will offer visitors the chance to enjoy wines from the recently released Stoneleigh Latitude range, which herald from Marlborough’s ‘Golden Mile’ - a special part of Marlborough known for outstanding grape growing conditions.

Open from 11.00am – 9.00pm during the Auckland Stopover, 8 – 18 March, the Stoneleigh pop-up bar is the ideal venue from which to take in the packed programme of events and live music on offer.
