A firend of mine is living with someone who has affairs and has been told he has a sex addiction. Is there a difference between having an affair and having a sex addiction? Is there any help for the relationship or should she move on? More about Sex addiction and affairs

I have a photo of my husband wearing Stubbies when he was about 19. They were really short shorts- any shorter and they would have been briefs. They were also the colour of dried out mud. Not long after we were married, those Stubbies disappeared in the wash, never to be seen again. The Stubbies in the photo above are so stylish that I'd quite happily be seen with my husband in public. They are certainly not cringe worthy any longer. Well done Stubbies! • ISIS or Ebola?

Last post: GetFrank Member on 14.10.14 at 09:20 | Started by GetFrank Member on 14.10.14

What do you think is the bigger threat to the world, Isis or Ebola? Both threaten world peace and with both, the world response seems to be slow and driven by bureaucracy. In addition both can enter countries in a stealth like manner-the time bomb ready to explode and cause chaos. Do you think the media is creating or helping to keep panic at bay? Are our facilities in NZ enough to cope with someone returning with Ebola? Do we need better terrorist laws for ISIS fighters deciding to return to NZ? Frankly, I think if the States with all their high tech gear can't cope with one Ebola victim will we be able to. And yes we have had terrorists on NZ soil-the French ones who blew up the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior but what would be the point of blowing up anything in NZ? We are just too small and inoffensive. So why in this day and age are watches still so popular when we all have the time on our phones which are probably microseconds more accurate? Is a watch just a status symbol now? More about DWISS Emme Silver Black

Wow durable maps- great if you get caught out in a deluge at Milford. We've walked all 3 of these tracks over 20 years ago and they are truly awesome. This summer it's time to do them with the kids. 3D maps would be awesome and obviously they are child friendly if they are durable! More about Win 3 Great Walk Durable Maps Worth $24.99 each

  • Is alcohol too popular in NZ today?

Last post: GetFrank Member on 17.12.13 at 14:30 | Started by Rangatira on 12.12.13

It's not the problem of popularity but of self control in many cases along with many social problems so many people drink to forget how miserable their lives are. For some it is the only thing that makes them feel good. Perhaps overall it is our society that has a problem and our use of alcohol is just a symptom of deeper rooted problems of discontent, ungratefulness, poverty, greed, isolation, loneliness , unemployment, lack of equal opportunity and lack of kindness, and lack of love for each other.
