  • Two Simple Ways to Form New Habits Without Really Trying

Last post: Geoff on 14.03.11 at 01:49 | Started by Cindy on 01.02.09

Hey, the article is so true. Going cold turkey or making adramatic change to adopt a new habit doesn't work for everbody so, as the article says take it one step at a time. If you want to increase your exercise or fitness level start with just 5 minutes per day and progressively increase it. Walk for 5 minutes per day for a week then slowly increase it - slot it in during a lunch break - easy as!! 10 minutes a week, then 20 etc, etc. After a serious illness I needed to increase my strength and stamina and so started with 10 minutes per day. In a matter of weeks I had caught the bug and was up to an hour per day and feeling all the better for it.

Someone once said it takes 21 days of concerted effort to form or break a habit.

Good luck. More about Two Simple Ways to Form New Habits Without Really Trying

Cufflinks are cool and make such a statement. The novelty are great fun and such a good converstaion starter - like all clothing and accessories they do need to be appropriate for the occasion. They are also so much nicer than plain old buttons on the sleeve.

Love the Superman cufflinks More about 5 Good Reasons Why Every Man Needs Cufflinks

Hey folks, I just love no's 9 and 10, so why not combine the two. Nowhere to hide when you are skydiving so you are a prime target unless you are fast and agile. And (it's a very big and) it's much safer than using real weapons! It's almost like a boys own adventure for all of us who love the old war comics - remember Commando Comic Books! - just a a bit safer so that you do live to fight again.
Bring in on - SKY PAINTBALL!!! More about The top ten outdoor must do's for Summer

  • Interview with Johnny Depp

Last post: Geoff on 14.03.11 at 01:45 | Started by Jason on 17.11.09

What a truly brilliant actor is Johnny Depp. From his early role in Nightmare on Elm Street and 21 Jump Street abck in the 1980's, through to Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Brascoe, JM Barrie in Finding Neverland, Willy wonka, Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Carribean series and now John Dillinger. His ability with the acting craft and his versatility are unmatched amongst todays crop of actors. Add to that his humanity and humbleness - he is just a nice guy. Long overdue for an OSCAR.
