  • Doesn't Matter Where You Get Your Appetite So Long As You Come Home For Dinner

Last post: WryRhie on 11.10.13 at 13:02 | Started by Tim on 23.08.13

I think people who say they don't look are insecure about their relationship or lying about looking. If you're happy and comfortable it should even be something you can talk about. If you care for your partner and trust them you shouldn't be threatened by them looking around.
I find it disrespectful to assume that people who see something they might find interesting can't control themselves more than a magpie. Show a bit of respect and trust people.

  • Having Shared Interests

Last post: WryRhie on 11.10.13 at 12:53 | Started by Darren on 11.10.13

I find it best to have a balance between the two. There are things that we both enjoy that brought us together. But my partner having their own hobbies and interests provides us with new and interesting things to talk about that we both don't already know about. More about Having Shared Interests

  • Fluoride in water - common sense or nanny state?

I haven't seen or heard any hard evidence against it. It provides a good benefit for many. Though I do understand the idea of not wanting to just chuck chemicals here, there, and everywhere. I'd be interested in reading a study on how it affects the eco-diversity in the water tables. More about Fluoride in water - common sense or nanny state?

It looks like a really great idea. All the best things all together. That being said I know a lot of my male friends ask the girls to hang on to everything that isn't their money, phone and keys. That *is* what bags are for. More about Win a Little and Sorted "Wingman"

We recently got Ripper from the SPCA and brought her home. We were warned to keep an eye on her because she was historically an outside cat and might wander and roam.
Apparently she's had a change of heart moving in with us. She's always up for a tummy rub and loves to sleep by your feet. When we're not home she's been earning her name on the edge of our sofa. But no worries - the scratching post is completely safe and sound. More about Win with Fancy Feast

  • Win a copy of Al Brown's GO FISH

Last post: WryRhie on 29.07.13 at 22:15 | Started by Sam on 29.07.13

That looks like it's a great book. I keep looking for fish recipes in regular cookbooks and coming up with not a whole lot.

I also think his dog is remarkably well behaved. Mine would've been nosing around in the bucket. :) More about Win a copy of Al Brown's GO FISH

  • iPhone or not to iPhone.. that is the question.

Last post: WryRhie on 22.07.13 at 20:33 | Started by JasonMantis on 21.07.11

What do you want out of your smart device? My husband loves his music and misses the functionality of the iPhone in this regard. I've found life without an i-device wonderful. I have philosophical differences with iTunes and find life generally better without interacting with it at all.
If you are looking for an Android device, I've found the Nexus 4 to be wonderful. It's responsive, versatile and hardy. It has a great screen size and provides an excellent experience. The audio via the headset could be improved but you get used to it (it's a bit quiet).
I have a few friends using Windows phones but they don't love the application range. I haven't heard too much that's super positive. More about iPhone or not to iPhone.. that is the question.
