Where is the suavest first date spot in AKL?
A little gem is Sentinel Beach in Herne Bay. It's a nice little beach with loungers you can take a picnic to and watch the lights of the harbour bridge and the sunset. The cool part is that there are a few little beaches like this around there so if one is full you can drive another block to the next bay. More about Where is the suavest first date spot in AKL?

Incredible Gadgets You Would Kill For?
Gibson Robot. It's an electric guitar that actually adjusts it's tuning while you play. pair that with some old-fashioned Marshall valve action and I'll be away laughing! More about Incredible Gadgets You Would Kill For?

Steve - funny you mention about a February detox. I recently signed up for an event called Febfast that you go off booze for the month and get sponsored to raise money for various substance abuse agencies across the country.
In regards to the exercises, I still prefer a good mix with some cardio intervals. Even with one session a week supplemented with running and some social sport has really helped me feel better and fitter. However, it hasn't given me any kind of definition (I don;t care about that, but some people might). More about Ranks Abdominal Exercises -
How much time do you spend with your significant other?
Well I am currently doing a long-distance relationship (Auckland-Wellington), so it's a bit of a blessing and a curse. When she moves back up, I am going to be curious to see the contrast.
On the plus side, we get alot of time for ourselves to still do our own things. Plus it has helped keep the relationship fresher for longer.
The downside is that we don't get as much time as we like and are often controlled by the time we have for our getaways. It also means I spend more time in front of a computer screen on Skype than I would ideally prefer (have a 40 hour a week desk job - going home for another couple of hours in from of an LCD screen is not always good).
I know one thing we have been discussing about when we get our own place is the need to ahve 2 bedrooms for ourselves. That way a spare room gives us breathing space if we need it and a place to store my guitar collection. More about How much time do you spend with your significant other? -
Overall, I think Korean cars have lifted their game from their initial entry into the market. Reliability, service support and overall refinement has improved.
But, there is probably still a long way to go before it's meeting the standards of other players in the market. I think it still serves a good niche into an affordable vehicle for space or towing, and I imagine this won't have the unreliable CVT gearboxes going into other new models these days (looking at alternatives to an Outlander at the moment due to the shoddy gearboxes in them). Is there any difference between US and UK sizing from anyone's experience? The reason I ask is that I am a big fan of finding unique tee shirts froom the likes of threadless and bigcartel, but have been cautious of which size to buy. More about Click Chic

10 Life Lessons from a Reluctant Runner
Great motivation for me, who signed up for a half marathon after thinking that Round the Bays was a bit of fun.
Like leo, I also wasn't a runner until I broke my leg pretty badly and I couldn't run properly for around 3 years. Since then, I have picked it up and actually enjoy a casual 20-30 minute run every second day.
I look forward to using these lesosns in my challenge to increase distance and endurance! More about 10 Life Lessons from a Reluctant Runner -
Hearing the new material, I'm going to take a tangent and mention the Foo Fighters. After a good break from their band (and the return of Pat Smear), it looks like the Foo's have gone back to the grunge and early FF days with the new songs. I think that will be a bit of a make or break for their massive fanbase. More about MMXI: A Musical Guide

As a guy who's probably been close to the burnout stage for a while, it's a relief to put that change into perspective (he says as he throws out that packet of cigarettes). More about Burnout is Beautiful
