It cracks me up that until the 1920s most swimwear was made of knitted wool...I guess they were wondering why so many swimmers were sinking to the bottom of the ocean never to be seen again, and just put it down to bad swimming technique ;)...I suppose in the 1920s it was also common to make sure you were dressed in straw before cooking a bbq? ;)...and I'm guessing it was fashionable for childrens pajamas to be made of methylated spirits?...;)

One more thing...I think the article is dead right that swimsuits now seem to be on a backwards trajectory...just look at the latest swimsuit fashion coming out of eastern Europe...

The only part I will really struggle with is the polished shoes part...I've been useless at that since I was a kid... More about Well dressed professional

Nice recovery for the benfit of the sponsor at the end..."chocolate milk tea" lol....

I can picture Dai at home boogying to MC Hammer on vinyl with a cup of tea in his hand...in fact that sounds pretty similar to my own chill out technique...except that I tend to listen more to Chemical Brothers on my Ipod...and without the cup of tea ;) lol...

And I also wonder if he really does have a turtle...maybe smoking [AHEM]...I mean "drinking"...too much dried tea just makes him think he has a pet turtle...

  • How to Attract Women and Not Have to Spend a Fortune

No need to overthink it...just use the good old formula that works every time:

Splash on two dabs of Old Spice or Brut 33 + comb your hair + pick some flowers from the neighbour's garden + take her out for dinner at Denny's + tell her next date you will take her for a romantic walk on the beach + give her a pash at the end of the night.

Tried and tested formula, works every single time... More about How to Attract Women and Not Have to Spend a Fortune

Ahhhhh...the never-ending loop of Twitter + Youtube + Facebook....a real classic sign of the times...I'm feeling that P-Money!

Back in the early 90s before the Internet things were slightly different...I would chill out with a never-ending loop of listening to MC Hammer on CD...followed by watching an episode of Seinfeld on TV...followed by playing some Super Mario Bros on Ninetendo...lol.

And going back even further into the 1980s (ahhhh...my most treasured childhood memories)...it was a never-ending loop of listening to a cassette tape of Beat It by Michael Jackson...followed by watching an episode of Knight Rider or the A-Team on TV...followed by playing some Donkey Kong or Frogger on the old Commodore 64 lol...

P.S.) As for playing "Bejeweled" on Facebook, let me just say one thing to P-Money and everyone else out there...GO THE FLAME GEMS and HYPER CUBES!!!! ;););) More about Primo Chill Out Interview - P. Money

  • Almond Mandarin Salad

Last post: Moose Mahon on 14.03.11 at 01:46 | Started by Moose Mahon on 01.09.10

YUM! Whenever I go to Wendy's now, I usually get either the Taco Salad or their Mandarin Chicken Salad...(doctor's orders, gotta give up the burgers and fries)... ;)

I LOVE mandarins in salad, they go so well...mmmm...bacon and mandarins...perfect ;)

I have also started making salads at home...not just the usual plain old lettuce and tomato...I'm using lean chicken, chick peas etc for protein...plus I often chuck in some pear or apple for a fruity flavour. YUM.

Will definitely be trying this recipe next. More about Almond Mandarin Salad

Hmmmm...I'm beginning to find my old 1970 Instamatic 100 camera a little outdated, so was thinking of upgrading...

Sounds like this Sony doesn't require any flash cubes, which is a bonus...and I'm guessing I wouldn't even have to wind on the film in between shots....sounds great!

My life will be so much easier...if the camera upgrade works out well, maybe I'll look at trading in my Phonograph next month... More about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX1 Digital Camera

  • Ladder Parkour

Last post: Moose Mahon on 14.03.11 at 01:46 | Started by Nutta Pete on 01.08.10

I tried some Pompakour on the weekend...it was AWESOME!!!!

I had to get up on the roof to fix a small leak...so immediately there was DANGER all around...I could easily have slipped on the corrugated iron at any moment, and fallen 1 story below on to freshly cut grass!!!!!! Talk about adrenaline!!!!

Not only that, but to add extra excitement, I got my wife to hold the ladder for me as I inched my way up on to the roof, and at one point, she let go with one of her hands to hand me up my hammer. I was halfway up the ladder...at least 3 feet off the ground!!! You can imagine how my heart was pounding when I saw her release her grip with one hand leaving only the four wooden chocks, rope supports and her other arm holding the ladder in place!!! Talk about having a heart attack!!!

Anway, the parkour was really fun, I'd recommend it to anyone, all you really need is a ladder and a sense of adventure... More about Ladder Parkour

$15,000 fish the size of a horse? That would have sounded like a classic fisherman's tall tale...except for the photo evidence ;) Plus the fact that he had a fishing rod named Gertrude in his hand during the interview also made his yarn all the more believable!

Jay really comes across as a down-to-earth, honest and likeable bloke...you've gotta like a guy that goes fishing in his spare time to chillax and enjoys it even more when he's doing it with his son.
