  • A radical idea, free buses!

We already have some free transport for over 65s, and now possibly free transport for school students. How come everyone else (hardworking single income families for example) are subsiding other people's free travel. Not sure about the fairness of this. More about A radical idea, free buses!

  • Empty calories

I find it interesting to that the "empty calorie foods" are full of bright colours, and obviously designed to be visually enticing. And yet when you look at the whole foods, they are also just as colourful. Why buy the artificial rubbish when the natural thing is just as appealling. There's so much "natural" fast food for kids. My littlies eat fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, cherries and grapes faster than lollies! More about Empty calories

Diamonds seem to be a common feature. Amazing how these sparkly little bad boys can separate the ludicrously rich from the rest of us. More about World's most expensive...

I did a very similar exercise years ago. I identified 5 main areas of life that was important to me (eg family, money, health etc), then wrote a number of goals under each. It helped to focus on what made me happy, and achieve a much better life balance. More about Balancing your life
