Yeah, he's sincere all right. About getting found out, loosing contracts and all the negative publicity. I really don't think he's truly sorry about the hurt to his family.

And is "sex addiction" a real problem or does the man think he's so infallible he can give in to his urges without suffering the consequences? I think all big shots let the fame and adulation get to their heads and develop a "god complex". More about Tiger Woods: I'm Deeply Sorry

I wish people wouldn't keep on showing that poor man's death all over the internet. I caught it on the news and while not bloody was pretty horrible all the same. Shouldn't people have some respect in death? Just because we can do somthing with technology, it doesn't mean we should go ahead and do it.

I also think someone needs to really examine the cause of his death. The authorities seemed to turn around and spout, "human error" before he was even cold. If there was no issue with the slide, why change it to make it shorter for the men? More about Georgian Luger Dies after Horrifying Crash at Olympics

  • Did You Know These Things About the Internet?

Last post: Catwoman on 16.03.11 at 01:44 | Started by Priyank on 22.09.09

Thanks to the internet, hoaxes and crap are so much easier to spread via stupid emails.

People think that just cause they found it on google or read it on wikipedia that it's all completely true. At least with newspapers and publications someone tries to make sure that what they write it accurate before they publish it.

The internet may be fantastic in many aspects but it sure as hell has made it easier for gormless people to post gormless notes about their gormless lives. More about Did You Know These Things About the Internet?

Give that man an Emmy! Who knew that William Shatner had such great comedic timing when I used to watch him on Star Trek as a kid. I love the guy! Will someone give the man a new series to star in please.

It's got to have been staged. Any publicity's gotta be good for the chap. It's not like those shows aren't scripted to the nth degree. There's no way Sacha Baron Cohen could have organised that without the OK of the organisers.

Wait a mo, Paul was just reading out other people's comments.

But really Stephanie Mills must be proud of the growth on her upper lip or she wouldn't go out in public with it on display. Or maybe there isn't any organic moustache wax available in the market. Mind you, that may not be a lucrative niche product to invest in. More about Moustache Gate

A very interesting article. However at the end of the day 75% of wine is bought and consumed on the same day. (I read this stat somewhere.) These people aren't going to notice a rating system. They're probably going to go by price and the grape variety, any maybe a wee gold or silver award sticker on the bottle. It could be a liquorland or new world award sticker, it won't matter.

We have a wine collection in the basement, but alas don't drink quite enough. We like trying and buying tho. It's a lot of fun. Over the years I've learned that the most important thing is that you enjoy the wine.

Don't go by any pretentious description of a wine that goes along the lines of ".... the wine has an intriguing aroma, not unlike a hint of sweaty saddles, ridden by 18 year old virgin girls ...." More about Bucking the Trend
