It is mind-boggling to see how far technology can immerse us in a world of escapism! I WANT ONE lol!
And how cool would it be to spend every day working on a device to enhance gameplay... I mean, come on, that's got to be a dream job. Imagine the hours spent testing each of the 18 presets... "Gee, I dunno boss, think I'll have to play just one more level...!"
The secret weapon is a very apt title for this piece of high tech gadgetry... wonder what they will come out with next :? More about Turtle Beach - PX5

Hmmm... well, not bad work from MANNY and RONALD. A couple of the scenes required a bit of thinking but I don't think I'll be rushing to brag about playing an online sniper game, where my sights and bullets can go through walls without detection, in order to help someone escape. Mind you, the escapee bears an uncanny resemblance to one of my good friends lol :) More about Online Game: Sniper Freedom

For goodness sake! What's with all the haters?! Come here, to this article, read through it then have a whine to tell the author to stop whining??? I liked it - mind you, I read the title first so expected to find a list of things that would likely get on someone's "tits". I'll agree with the anti-climax - felt a bit more thought could have provided an answer for X and Z - was willing to accept X, but not having something for Z is cop out. I'm an IT guy and didn't even get offended by 'I' - too busy laughing at people in the office... More about Things that...

Its not called the "guy code" for nothing! But every guy knows that there are only a few of your mates that will fall into the 'inner circle' of mates who will be listened to and actually be able to enter into this type of discussion.
I've been on both sides of the coin - and both places are hard to be in. But the awkwardness and tension created by the revelation is minor compared to the outcome if your mate found out you knew and hadn't said anything. More about Dilemma DVD Giveaway

    Easy...
My 37th is looming on the horizon. My exclusive invitation would feature a picture of Frank's Home Bar Essentials and consist of three venues people would need to visit on the way to the final par-tay location...

En route the guests would need to pass three Reality TV styled tasks, designed to promote hilarity and warm them up for the ensuing night of alcohol fueled frivolity. Successful completion of the task, or even laughter from those observing would entitle people to move through each venue... after consuming one of my favourite cocktails... the 50 cal, liquid cocaine, and a 'wild card' selection. From that point on... well, I think I have the makings of the perfect setting for blackmailing my guests after taking video footage at the party :) More about Win all of Frank's Home Bar Essentials

A great concept? Well, I kind of agree... the omni-directional wheel IS a fantastic concept and could revolutionise transport - we would FINALLY have people parallel parking! :) Seriously though, there are a lot of great features in this little device, and its probably a good way of showing them off, but I couldn't really imagine myself feeling safe or comfortable on something that is one fifth my weight and contains enough seating area for maybe one and a half cheeks...

And I have to agree with some of the other comments made... who would own one? Perhaps the 'Kiwi' way of life does not lend itself to these funky little techno devices... or maybe we just like to use the limbs we have while we can. What use would it be if you can only ride around on it for an hour and then spend the rest of the day waiting for it to recharge?

Perhaps they are hoping the huge rise in the popularity of the unicycle will catapult sales of this new device into the millions... (yes, the sarcasm was intentional). More about U3-X Personal Mobility Prototype

I'm still surprised the TED Global conference doesn't get more coverage here in NZ. There have been some amazing demonstrations of new technology (such as the one above) and awesome speakers that cover a whole variety of topics. As an educator I know I find it more interesting than most, but it still has incredible content that I think almost anyone should know about. To borrow a phrase from the real slim shady...
    "Are you f'n serious, man..."
Apparently not - totally reeks of a setup - whats the point of having two giant dudes sitting either side of you if they can't stop a giant, gay, Austrian bird from falling into your lap?! More about Bruno Teabags Eminem at MTV Awards
