I used to think I wanted a man who took really good care of himself. I've been with guys like that, and yeah, it's great. But the guy I like at the moment is just naturally hot. He doesn't brush his hair, he cuts it once a year, really short, and forgets it for another year. Sometimes he shaves, generally not. Sometimes he seems to wear the same clothes for days. But he doesn't smell.
And so I realise my attraction for someone has little to do with how groomed they are, chemistry doesn't care about that.
It's his smile, his laugh, his intelligence, his all round awesomeness.
I think we concentrate way too much on 'products' and perfection.

I got my Dad bowls for the kitchen. He suggested I get them for his wife for her birthday, so I got her jewellery, and got him the bowls. Haha. Well, he benefits from them... More about what to buy dad as a gift
Yeah, I reckon a tie for special occasions, but not every day. Guys that wear ties around town every day look boring and stuffy, but for a special occasion they look nice.
I used to have to wear one at school so I know how restricting they can feel. More about The vanishing tie?
I think I'm the only person in the world who can be sick for 2 weeks, not even be able to taste food, and yet gain weight. Would love if something like this worked for me! More about Win 1x Cider Slim product
I've tried eating them when I was a kid (who didn't, right?) But they were horrible. I could consider that the flavour might not be so bad if they were blended, but still, even thinking about it my teeth feel gross... :/ More about Anyone tried eating banana peels?
It's after noon, so it's okay if I'm kind of craving this now, right? More about WIN 1 in 3 Jim Beam's Devils Cut
Toyota Corolla, and it's only been about a month since I washed (and WAXED!) it, but then we moved house, and it's been outside every night because the new garage is stuffed with boxes. Poor car :'( More about Win 1 of 6 Armor All Gift Packs for Father’s Day
This behaviour definitely does NOT belong in the past. From a woman's point of view there is nothing worse than a man pushing past to get through the door first, except perhaps if he then doesn't even bother to hold it open for me. It's not just courtesy, it's also a way for people to exist harmoniously, someone has to go through the door first, if we have socially accepted ways of deciding this it makes it easier for everyone.
