Win a PS3™ and the God of War Trilogy
On the behalf of my brother..
What happened to me:
When it came time for my wedding my groomsman and "best man" organized a team building activity for us and
the rest of the men attending the wedding that involved caving/absailing in the bush just outside of Taranaki.
The whole thing was organized behind my back (while i knew they were planing something, i just didnt know what)
and was of course suited to my fear of heights. But we got off to a great start anyway and before we knew it we
were a couple of hours into it. Well thats when my groomsman and (supposibly) "best man" thought it would be funny
to put a little bit of slack in the rope, the idea being that i would drop a meter or so and then be caught again by
the rope. Well did i drop, and them stoping me was alot harder then they thought it would be, i did eventually come
to a stop, still a long way up from the ground, but somewhere in my panic of getting dropped i put my arm out to do im not sure what (try and save my life!?)
So i got to the bottom of the waterfall and at the time wasn't too sore, and then about 3 seconds later, i was in complete agony. The reason being (which we would find out at the hospital later) that i'd broken my elbow. I'm not sure what a regular broken elbow is like but i had smashed mine, the knobbly bit of the elbow you can feel when you bend your arm was not where it should have been! I was in hospital overnight and preped for surgery the next morning, which of course was the day of the wedding..
I still have the wire/screws that were taken out about 3-4 months later, in another operation as no matter how many times i tell this story it's never believed until they see the bits! (I must have x-ray's on file somewhere aswell)
My Revenge:
I realize that what my mates did was, to a certain amount, an accident. But i knew i couldnt just let all this happen
and not take any sort of revenge on them at all. I thought anyone can get revenge by 'a scar for a scar', So i devised a plan of attack that went a bit deeper then your usual revenge..
It's easy to hurt someone, but it's a bit harder and a lot more funnier when you mess with somebody mentaly.
So with the help of a few contacts i got a little revenge..
Both of the guys each received personal ad's in the local paper, advertising there "services" to ANYBODY who calls
at a very discount rate, there phones were alot busier then i thought they would be!
So that was allright, fairly suttle but it did the job, untill a opertunity presented itself many months later that i just had to take advantage of. The "best man" was getting his house painted, by a guy that we both knew. The "best man" is far from knowledgable about anything to do with home makeovers etc, he just like his place nice and tidy etc so all his job was to do was pick the colour.. Thats where i came in, had a talk to the painter and we came up with the plan of getting (well making up) the worse colour of under coat that we could think of, painting it on and just leave it as if that was the end product, and that the painter just mucked up what colour it was ment to be. DONE.
The groomsman is yet to have his own personalized vevenge had on him, but i can assure you that when a opportunity presents itself it will be done with class.
Have attached a photo i just took of the scar on my elbow.
