  • Can someone tell me what the best and healthiest way to lose a couple Kgs???

Last post: Bernadette on 02.04.12 at 15:56 | Started by mahmmatesrulez on 26.03.12

all sound advice on here. the battle to lose a few kg's does really become a battle
    the older one gets.
Personally though.......yeah found smaller portion sizes, more whole foods more often
in conjunction with moving my fat arse at least half hour a day (regarldess of how suck this sounds) did actually help me drop some weight.
We are used to being over fed and over indulged as greedy westerners - so its a change in mindset. be happier with less and realise you don't actually need that other snickers bar or whatever it might be. Exchange cravings for willpower and it's not such a struggle then. Good luck

Heres a true story about DIY petrol siphoning. I needed to siphon some out of a late model station wagon to fill the lawnmower. so i got the tube, eased it down into the tank, started sucking and sucking and sucking..... and nothing.
so genuis that I am I attached a vacumm cleaner to the end of the tube and let that do the sucking, thinking a little help to get it flowing could be a good thing.

Well hello!! It had barely even been on and there's a smell of smoke. I turn around and the vacuum cleaner is on fire. Flames and smoke and the thing still sucking. Holy Moly --- I thought.
It would take only a few seconds for those flames to travel back up the tube and into the tank and blow the whole wagon, the garage and me sky high in a massive fireball.

In a flash i grabbed the burning appliance, threw it outta the garage onto the lawn, pulled the tube out, grabbed the hose and put out the vacuum cleaner and a pool of flames on the concrete. Before promptly breathing one huge sigh of relief and taking my dumb arse to the petrol station to fill a petrol container. More about STIHL Chainsaw Giveaway
