My Year of Meat (Ruth Ozeki). Was a staunch carnivore and it single-handedly ruined eating meat for me, for years. More about Three Must Have Summer Readings

I'd take my wife out for Subway on the beach, on one of those extremely rare occasions we have a night off from the kids. Then we could go for a walk along the beach and reminisce about all that spare time we wasted before having them! More about SUBCARD™Christmas with SUBWAY® restaurants

A while ago now, I lived in a flat with 5 others. One night there was only me and one of my flatmates, who I fancied. We were talking, then we started hitting a balloon around. It started off playful balloon hitting, then turned into a bit of a competitive scoring game. We were diving and serving like we were balloon professionals... then one thing led to another, and we found ourselves daring each other to play the game naked. Even after a good half hour of this, incredibly my flatmates didn't surprise us by coming home, and I ended up marrying that flatmate. We have two kids now, and naked balloon hasn't featured in our lives since that dark night! More about Batman - The Dark Knight Returns Massive Prize Pack & DVD's

Being a good dad. I think I do a good job and I'm a fun dad (yes that's actually me in the photo). Both my kids are great and I just can't imagine coming home from work and them not running up to me yelling "daddy's home".

7 (eight if you count the cleaner). I was going to make up a position for a joke, but was struggling (it's been a long day) so decided to look up on wikipedia for ideas(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sex_positions). It certainly answered all my questions and more. Think the T-square position looks interesting. More about Ultimate Couples Kit

Acting very cool when my wife noticed a tarantula-sized spider on the dashboard in our rental car in Melbourne (turned out to be a huntsman). Saved the day by stopping at a shop to buy fly spray and sprayed it for a good five minutes until it stopped moving. More about Ultimate skin care with Nutrimetics FOR MEN

I walked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (around 7 hours) in Levis. One guy in the full tramping gear (polyprop etc) passed me looking very amused and asked what it was like tramping in jeans. Wasn't too bad actually. Who needs all the gear when you've got Levis eh? More about Levi's 501 Jeans

When you've got a family and a mortgage, sometimes you don't have the luxury to do something you love, particularly if there's no money in it. Maybe it's more about just changing your attitude toward your work, and just making sure you have balance in your life. More about The Five Things You Need to Know About Finding the Work You Love

No Country for Old Men wins hands down for me. There was something unnervingly disturbing about the psychopath (see picture). Was looking over my shoulder for days afterwards expecting to see him. Certainly didn't glamourise the drug world at all.

For me nothing beats a coffee and a read of the paper in bed to start the day. Just a few moments of peace before all hell breaks loose in the form of two energetic pre-schoolers. Helps keep me sane (ish). More about Shit, Shower, & Shave
