The Royal Flying Doctor Service is the world's largest and most comprehensive aeromedical service, with a fleet of 61 aircraft operating from 21 bases and five primary healthcare centres in the Australian outback. Oris, whose name has been linked to flying since the 1940s, pays tribute to this service with an eponymous watch, produced as a limited edition of two thousand. Doctors will appreciate the practicality of the orange pulsometer scale when taking a patient's pulse. Two screw-lock crowns set the time in the two zones. The second time zone is displayed on the rotating inner bezel ring, with Australia's characteristic 30-minute adjustments.
