“If you can meet Triumph and Disaster...Yours is the earth and everything in it.” Do you enjoy the scent of the great outdoors? If so, you’re going to love Triumph and Disaster. Founded by Dion Nash, the main goal was to establish a skincare range targeted at men. Here is a look at two of their products.

Both products have not been tested on animals. Nor are there any parabens or silicones in either item.

Product One: Rock & Roll suicide face scrub

Designed to help remove any aging skin cells or dry skin off the face, suicide face scrub is designed to remove dirty pores and bring out fresher, more vibrant looking skin.

The strong smelling fragrances are right in sync with Triumph and Disaster’s “nature” connection. Cedarwood, pine and Eucalyptus were the most noticeable smells when lifting the lid off, although hints of other natural scents came through as well.

To see the best results, a fair level patience is needed. The face scrub will begin to producing promising results when the pottle’s contents begin to run out.

Positives: Easy to use; gentle on the skin; unique men’s skincare product; good long term results

Negatives: Very strong fragrances; takes a while to wash off skin

Ingredients: Aqua, Kaolin, Green Clay, Sodium Cocoyl Isethicnate, Volcanic Ash, Natural Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, CI 77499 (Iron Oxide), Natural Fragrance*, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic acid.

*Fragrance is a natural blend of Cedarwood, Patchouli, Pine, Eucalyptus, Pepper

Product Two: Gameface moisturiser

Moisturisers always used to be product only women used. Not anymore. Moisturising cream for males have a distinctly masculine touch with this light, simple cream.

It can be applied after showering, shaving or spending time in the sun. It keeps the face fresh and alive. The skin remains moist and healthy.

The lightness of the cream makes application to the face and neck easy and efficient. One pottle will deliver good value for money.

With a Totara and Kauri tree aroma, the product soothes the skin as well as softening it to make it more radiant and vibrant. It works well for people with sun beaten skin.

Positives: Very light (not thick); good value for money; can be used daily; reduces facial lines; increases radiance; fast results

Negatives: It washes off easily (if you’re rinsing your face); overly strong aromas

Ingredients: Aqua, Coco Caprylate, Glycerine, Jojoba Esters, Pseudowintera Colorata (Horopito), Tapioca Starch, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitiman E), Cetyl Olivate (olive oil extracts), Sorbitan Olivate, Cetyl Alcohol, Myristyl Myristate, Sodium Hydroxide, Cyathea Cumingii leaf extract (Ponga Fern), Carbomer, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid (Vitiman C), Sodium Phytate, Panthenol.

Triumph and Disaster have worked hard to integrate their brand with nature. Suicide facescrub and gameface moisturisers are stepping stones for greater products to come.
