Instead of going without any food at all, it might be a better idea to have a small snack of protein and carbohydrates which will not only keep you from starving in the morning but will allow your body to work more efficiently and give you the restful sleep that you need.

There is not a one-size-fits-all diet plan that can be all things to all people. The best diet plan is one that gives guidelines for what is best, including amounts and types of foods and acceptable substitutions for every food in the plan. A rigidly written diet plan is too hard to incorporate into most people's lifestyles and may be too hard to follow as well.

Someone who weighs 150 pounds will need fewer calories than a person who weighs 250. The amount suggested by the diet plan will be based on the needs of one particular weight category and should adjust up or down based on your needs.
Vegetarians Automatically Lose Weight
One of the biggest myths is that you will drop weight without effort as soon as you stop eating meat. First, if you are not eating the right foods, you will not lose weight. Second, if you are not eating the right kinds of vegetarian foods, you will find yourself deficient in certain nutrients. Many people, especially teenagers, will suddenly opt to eat a vegetarian diet and will find themselves actually gaining weight because they did not pay attention to the foods they were eating. Some new vegetarians will live on high fat macaroni and cheese or French fries. Warning: Some fast food places have been known to soak their fries in beef stock or beef fat to entice people to eat their burgers as well.
While you do get protein from plant materials, the amount is lower than from animal sources and is not complete since it is lacking one or more of the essential amino acids. These are the amino acids that the body cannot create on its own and must have supplied to it by the diet.

There are a number of options to choose from and you should understand how they work and how to use them best before choosing which are the best for your needs. Some powder protein can be remarkably high in calories so they would probably not be a good idea for daily consumption by those who are trying to lose weight.
