The Books were great but would love to see the movie :) I would have chose Stone Cold Steve Austin to play Jack ....so I am interested in seeing the movie and if Tom can pull off such a strong character role.

Reacher was a 'real man' can Tom really pull it off??? I think Lee Child who stated that Tom wouldn't be right initially thought so too! (That was before the check cleared...now he's the man...hmmm i feel a tui billboard happening here

Have all the books and love them. Definitely can't see Reacher played by Tom Cruise but then, didn't think Daniel Craig could pull of Bond and he has. Will give it a crack but still not as the character seemed when reading the books to have a dwarf play a giant 6ft5" hulk of a man!

Love the books but I'm not sure about Tom Cruise as Jack reacher as he's a wee bit on the small and short side for my liking, Jack Reacher was tall and muscular.. but maybe I have to see the movie to be proven wrong.
