Discussing :: Tristan Blair – Autumn/Winter 2011 - "Vivid Arms"

Taking on something of a utilitarian theme, Blair found inspiration in the military uniforms of the 1940's: "I find the military uniform very aesthetically pleasing -  the simplicity of the attire and the way that there is practicality crossed with traditional style. This combination of principles can be easily transferred into shoe design as practicality and style are the foundations for a great shoe." You don't get much more simple than that... nice traditional detailing in the one on the left redeems him.


i would like to see the khaki suit and pith helmet come back into fashion, and perhaps cane walking sticks.


Classy. Liking the (suede?) black shoe at the back. Comfortable shoe and suitable for smart/casual.
