After years of holding down steady jobs many fathers these days take a leap and start their own business. Why do they do it? Perhaps because having your own business allows you to control your destiny, get paid what you're really worth, work flexible hours, do what you've always been passionate about and so on. Three tips for fathers running their own business

You can never buy back time spent with your young kids. Those precious moments and experiences will be life long memories. Why bother having kids if you not interacting and communicating with them one on one. The relationships you build with them at young age will be important later on in life when they remember fondly good, bad and fantastic events that occured. Like old saying goes, "you will never wish you spent more time at work but you will always regret the time you missed with your kids".

Thanks for this article, My Husband is an awesome Dad who like most, would love to be able to spend more time with his kids rather than at work, I will definitely let him know about diyfather.co.nz its awesome, great to see something for the dads.
