Do you love sitting around at night, watching television and munching on tasty treats? Come on now, you know you do. We all do. The problem is that night is actually the worst time to sit around and eat useless calories, and the treats we eat while watching television and movies are usually something unhealthy and fattening like potato chips, buttered popcorn, candy, and other junk food. Emergency Rations for Healthy Snacking

Great advice. Definitely think the comment about including protein in the snacks should have been right up the top. That is the number 1 mistake for many dieters... eating fruit, veggies, bread, low-fat crackers for snacks but still feeling hungry. Then you end up eating the chips and biscuits anyway so you're filling up on fat. Whereas a handful of nuts or peanut butter on toast will fill you up quickly and is no-where near as more-ish as corn chips. Excellent article.

Yeah I really need to have more healthy snacks available so I'm not tempted by the bad stuff.
