Fantastic tips from everyone. To save money, i used to just buy a bottle of spirits every 2-3 weeks, instead of going through lots of bottles of wine!! i definitely think you need to take advantage of booze at home before going out!!!

Sigh, the good old days of grabbing a bottle of the best from the liquor store on the way home - its now find the most decent cheap vino and then spritz it down with some soda water. We're not alcoholics who HAVE to drink, its just something we find relaxing in the evening when our bub has gone to bed.
