what to buy dad as a gift

what do dads really really want for fathers day .. i would love to give my dad something he'd be wowed with .. my dad has been so amazing and is sick with prostrate cancer ... so something he could make the most out of and enjoy and also he has been the bestest grumpy to my lil boy ... ideas .. would be fabulous x

What about a project he could do with his grandson...... Quality time together and something they can talk about for years to come. Maybe make a bird feeder, or a canvas painting together or you could get fishing rods and they could catch fish together? Memories.

my father loves to travel so maybe a flight some place where he can relax. A cruise is also an option. But if its too pricey, a nice jacket is indispensable.

how about putting on a fathers day luncheon with all the family together, bake his favourite foods, hire out some dvds if he enjoys that sort of thing, and sit down together to watch them, sometimes it is the little things that mean the most, not some flashy present, everyone could bring a little gift, maybe things that you know he likes, be it certain types of sweets, chocolates, vouchers whatever your dad loves most, but mostly just enjoy spending quality time with your dad

It gets harder to find a suitable gift every year. I always end up getting something like home brew or chocolates.

If you are stuck for ideas then check out one of these sites, Dad will love it: http://www.redballoon.co.nz/fathers-day-gifts?gclid=COXU-Ke1iLkCFQvkpAodpGEAew http://www.hot-laps.co.nz/index.php?kw=u8hhfrwh_105_115725&gclid=CIvfieW1iLkCFYoxpAod6ksAVA One evening a little girl and her parents were sitting around the table eating supper. The little girl said, "Daddy, you're the boss, aren't you?" Her Daddy smiled, pleased, and said yes. The little girl continued "That's because Mummy put you in charge, right?"

There are some stand by gifts, that don't cost a lot, but are guaranteed to bring out a smile, and genuine thanks. A good day out fishing is hard to beat. Otherwise, something you know he will use, for a long time is perfect. Something he can say to his friends, Yep, my son bought me this.

My dad always says he just wants a Fathers day card and no present! So I usually bake him a cake and get him lots of Crossword scratchies!

That's the best present ever! Something made from the heart and something he enjoys doing.Excellent choice. :)

a lotto ticket and a six pack of beer.

For goodness sake don't buy him socks or hankies, you can be more creative than that. Suggestions, a bbq grilling set, a navman gps so won't get lost, or a new set of reading glasses. I'm sure he will appreciate these much more
