I always save a liitle spot on my plate for some egg/kumara/pasta salad with my moutains of meat. Plus the salad comes in handy when you have to make sandwiches from all the left over Ham for the rest of the festive season.

You just can't beat the taste of veg picked from your own garden and made into a salad. I love salads even in the winter. Way better than boiled tasteless veg that need salt added!

summer is definitely salad season. I love a good potato salad or egg and celery salad with my steaks..

On the softer side, A nice leafy green salad is ideal with chicken kebabs and nibbles. It must be the ranch dressing mixing with the chicken.

Salads are excellent in summer, not so much in winter. I prefer mashed potatoes to salad in the colder months!
