Discussing :: Salad over cooked veges

#61

Salad.....absolutely love them and it doesnt have to be the traditional lettuce salads as we become more adventurous and it could be a pasta salad, potato salad, warm roast salad, whatever the salad its just yummy to compliment most meats (bbqd at that!!)

#62

Salad is so easy to do - less chance of over cooking the veges and you get all the good nutrients!

#63

salad is always the preferred choice in summer. especially with BBQ cooking. a simple summer salad is also so easy to prepare. who wants to be cooking over a hot oven in the summer. don't think so.

Salad every time i enjoy having a salad new potatoes and cold meat and now summer is almost here
why eat lots of boiled or roasted vegetables.

#65

I love both, just depends what you are having it with!! Mix it up!!!

#66

we generally follow the seasons so we eat steamed veges in winter when they are at their best and warm you up and salads all summer long!

#67

I prefer a salad because you can put different stuff in it for variety.

#68

Definitely salad as I don't like most vegetables. Its great in summer as well when it is hot.

#69

salad over summer as its usually too hot for cooked veges

I prefer salads. Cooked vegetables can be bland and uninspiring. You can tart up a salad with tomato, cucumber and dressings.
