Where is the best places to buy local farmers produce, including meats, cheeses & wines etc?

We buy a majority of vegetables from the market every Saturday as its so cheap as well! get a lot with little money spent!

I love buying from the weekend farmers markets too. It's not always cheaper, but I love getting to know the people who have actually made the food. Makes it taste better!

I would love to start buying fruit and veg from our local markets, last time I went I wasnt very impressed with the prices, and 6am is early when you have children!

Always buy from Whangarei Market on Saturday. Vegetables and fruit are really fresh.

I love the idea of the harbour market in Wellington but it always seems to be thronging with people and I'm sure it's all the same fruit and vege that is at New World except it's been sat out in the sun all day. Am I wrong?

The Nelson Saturday market is one of the best if you happen to be in the area.

Markets are great, kids love it and good way to show them different fresh foods.
