''''Drinking hot water after meals '''''

Not only about the hot water after your meal, but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine . Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer . It is best to drink hot soup or hot water/tea after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive -- This is a very good article. from http://www.desitwist.com/health-fitness/drinking-hot-water-after-meals-19685.html

..do you mean boiling hot water? I have read that drinking warm water helps but not hot water....unfortunately I love cold water...maybe I should make the water more warmer from now on...as I don't think my nightly green tea is going to be enough.....

@Tudalee--> don't worry, you can use the water for washing your bottom. i am sure cold water is good for your ass. They do that in Asia.. too :-)

Have you ever heard that if you leave a baby tooth in a glass of ''Coca-Cola''' overnight it will completely dissolve by morning?

Well, that’s a bunch of bologna. However, brushing your teeth with Coca-Cola every day for an extended period of time will certainly make teeth rot right out of your head. So if a creepy nurse offers you this kind of Coca-Cola paraphernalia, run for it!

Mild depression can be cured with exercise.

Those with weak digestion might find that eating raw fruit with meals causes intestinal gas and bloating. Cooked fruit is a fine dessert, and you can still use raw fruit for snacks — but know that even as an occasional snack, fruit might be a problem if your digestive fire is smoldering rather than blazing

The key to happiness is health.
If you find time for exercise you may not have time to be ill.

Guys this one could be for you.

Studies show that AVOCADO helps prevent the occurrence of cancers in the prostate gland and mouth.

Eating oily fish can dramatically reduce the risk of heart disease in young women, according to new research.

Young women who ate oily fish once a week reduced their risk of heart disease and stroke by ninety per cent compared with those who rarely or never ate fish, a Danish study found.
Oily fish contains long chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are thought to protect against heart disease and stroke.
