Discussing :: Electric vehicles - would you?

The Prius hybrid is awesome to drive but I don't think I'd want a car that I have to plug in all the time!

If I could afford it - hell yeah

electric yes solar power batteries for them yes?

yes definately, but what I need more is a computerless car, every time my car breaks down it seems to have something to do with the computer playing up and not letting the car work properly, nothing actually wrong with the car itself, really annoying. And I agree with a previous comment, solar power all the way, that could be free couldn't it. Imagine that, free power.

Some of them look really neat..however probably not so practical on our remote country roads where we live. Maybe a good shopping trolley for zapping around the city though.

I sure would buy one if it was at a reasonable price

So worth going for electric/hybrid vehicels - the saving of fuel when stopped waiting at lights/on ramp to motorways - stuck in traffic and you are being nice to the environment!

I love our Prius, its so economical and great to drive.

Absolutely ... they are just going to get better and better

Definately. Reduce carbon footprint, reduce fuel costs, reduce emissions, reduce road noise in built up areas. A no brainer if they create the models and the umph that the masses require. Will seriously look at these when we next change cars.
