Sazerac - Classic Cocktail Drink Recipe.
1 teaspoon of sugar syrup
3 dashes of bitters
Shot or two of whiskey
Fill a glass with ice to chill, stir in the ingredients with large ice cubes until thoroughly chilled. Grab another two glassed and swirl a dash of absinthe in each one and discard the leftover. Strain the liquor into the swirled glasses. Twist a peel of lemon over each glass and drop it on top as a garnish.
Serve with a small glass of ice water on the side as a chaser.
Note: This isn’t the tastiest of cocktails, however as one of first cocktails known to man with origins in pre-Civil War New Orleans, Louisiana you’ll have a decent story to go with it.
