Electronic Arts has just released the music game to beat all music games, Beatles Rockband.

Now I’m assuming here that you are slightly somewhat familiar with the Rock Band series. An entire setup of Guitar, Drums and Mic’s, allowing you to mimic the vocals, air guitar and hammer to the beat of legendary artists.

Which leads me to the most legendary of all; The Beatles.

Featuring ‘avatar’ like recreations of all of the original band members back in their hey-days, John, Paul, Ringo and George animated throughout an impressive 45 original tracks: Can’t Buy Me Love, I Am The Walrus, Eight Days A Week, Yellow Submarine, Day Tripper, Get Back, Twist and Shout, just to name a few.

No matter how old you are or what your preferred genre of music you prefer, it’s an undeniable truth that not only have you probably heard a Beatles track, but it was their before time pioneering songs that helped shape the music today.

Okay, now I’ve exposed myself as a self confessed Beatles junky, but with a massive collection of hits and differing Performance options (supporting Downloadable content and upto three Mics), Beatles Rock Band is the best in the series so far.

No more standing in front of the mirror with a hairbrush. The wait is over. Can actually be part of the world's greatest band in history with this bad boy. Twist and shout everyone.

I grew up with a mother who was totally obsessed with Paul McCartney, i knew the words to the Beatles songs before i even knew the alphabet. Would be a blast at a family reunion, everyone belting out the tunes............

I grew up with The Beatles...not literally... Paul isn't my dad or anything...but my actual dad was a massive fan & I must say I started to relate to their later stuff in my experimental years... good stuff! Still haven't started my own rock band though... figure there is still time?
