Sacha Baron Cohen (as his alter ego Brüno, the Austrian fashion journalist) falls into rapper Eminem’s lap during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards... staged? That's a tough question to answer.

    There's no such thing as bad publicity...The more publicity the better, especially around the launch of a a new album, so I reckon he was in on it for sure!!

    Mutually beneficial publicity for the both of them. Quite funny to see that after all those years spent at Oxford University, this is how Sacha Baron Cohen promotes their prestigious namesake.... LOL

    This was certainly a stunt and not an equipment failure, but Eminem definitely was not in on it. He simmply is not that good an actor to fake his reaction as he did.

    Definitely, having heard Eminen's latest album he needs all the publicity and hype he can get. Will the real Slim Shady please call and taxi and return home!

    I think he was in on it, definitely. Asides from the fact I really doubt they'd do it otherwise, he acted way to angry for it to be real. He was swearing and just got so mad, and I really doubt someone would act like that if they didn't know it was coming.

    Apparently not - totally reeks of a setup - whats the point of having two giant dudes sitting either side of you if they can't stop a giant, gay, Austrian bird from falling into your lap?!

    I think it was staged. It appeared that Eminem had a microphone on(after he performed on stage)so why would he still have it on if nothing was going to happen. Hmmmmmm
