  Great to see Wellington sports-fans showing their support for the Warriors. Over 27,000 tickets had been sold by Friday night suggesting the game will be pushing the capacity of the Cake Tin. Let's hope this becomes an annual event. Wellingtonians are crying out for the top sporting events, and there is nothing like the Westpac when there's a full house. Let's hope NZ Football do the sensible thing and award the crucial All-Whites November World Cup play off match to our coolest little capital city. More about Warriors in Welly

  Got to love the NZ International Comedy Festival currently hitting Auckland and Wellington at the moment. This year's acts make this the best festival in recent memory. Top recommendation would have to be 'The Boy With Tape On His Face' aka London-based Kiwi Sam Wills. He rocked Wellington last night and now heads to Auckland. Don't miss this show -you will be talking about it for weeks afterwards. I would also highly recommend Manchester stand-up comic Dan Nightingale, currently doing the round as part of the festival.
