The thought of being able to watch brilliant clear 3D content at home is really appealng, but for now I think it is doomed because of the lack of scale in NZ. It really is a technology for the purists. It is at a premium price, you really need a specialist room set up, you have to go for the top end screen size to make it worthwhile and yes you have to wear those stupid glasses. The latter being the biggest stumbling block for me. I read somewhere that 3D TVs are not big sellers in tech savvy Japan. Is that because it doesn't suit their tastes, or is it because they know this technology is in its infancy and something better is likely to come along that will make the current setup as attractive as the old original low def power hungry plasma screens that came out 10 years ago? • Men's Kegel Exercises

Years ago, my wife's Gyno told her to do these exercises to help with recovery after childbirth, and I remember her winking at me and saying, if you do them you'll benefit too... Now I know what she was on about.

They are really easy to do, it is just remembering to do them. Maybe I'll leave a little private recurring "Keg" reminder in Outlook or on my phone a few times a day so I can do them when I am sitting in the office. More about Men's Kegel Exercises

  • Fresh Egg Pasta

I ONLY eat my own home made pasta now and love it. So fresh and cooks so fast. Yes the prep time is a bit longer, but treat the kneading as bit of an arm & shoulder workout with a bit of cardio thrown in and you are sorted. Besides, the ladies love the sight of a man working hard in the kitchen. I find that a good bottle of red wine is essential in any pasta recipe. I generally drink about two or three glasses duirng the process, but you can use more if you prefer:-)

The recipe I use is similar to the one above, except I don't salt the raw dough as I find it dissolves in the cooking process and can reduce your smooth texture a bit. I rather salt the boiling water. As a rule of thumb, I use 100g flour to 1 egg per portion of pasta, so two eggs and 200g flour is enough for two. Also, if you are making a slightly larger amount, try adding half a cup of finely pureed raw Silverbeet instead of one of the eggs. It takes a little longer to bind in the kneeding process, but it makes for a nice green pasta with a veggie taste. Great for the stronger tomato or chilly based pasta sauces. • Cuba

A mate went to Cuba for his honeymoon and could not stop raving about the place. He is a full-on confirmed tourism ambassador and all that he has been spouting on about is repeated in this article. Maybe I'll believe him now. Definitely needs to be on the must see destination list.

He got there via the US, then Mexico. Anyone know what the best way to get to Cuba is, and what kind of overall holiday cost are you in for? Do you rekon a guided holiday is advisable? More about Cuba
