If only water tasted better?! :) But seriously theres nothing as refreshing as water. Energy drinks in reality don't even stand a chance in comparison to water. More about The Many Benefits of Water

  • Soda Soft Drinks Do Not Hydrate Your Body

Last post: Nick on 14.03.11 at 01:45 | Started by Nick on 13.05.08

"Your body needs 8 - 10 glass of water per day. If you are drinking soft drinks you need to drink an additional 8 - 12 glass. I'll do the math--you need to drink 16 to 22 glasses of water per day to hydrate and replenish your body's water requirement."

Wow! I didn't think it was that bad. Infact I still don't. I think this article is exaggerated. Sure Soda soft drinks are not good for the system, but claiming they'll kill you is plain lying! More about Soda Soft Drinks Do Not Hydrate Your Body

  • Prostitution Law Reform

I think the main issue hovering over sex and prostitution laws is ones understanding of the governments role. Do they have a right that goes beyond the outside and the physical?! More about Prostitution Law Reform

Nothing works for me. When I'm asleep, I'm really asleep. The only way to wake me up is to stab me or pluck out my heart. Haha! More about How to Wake Up Without an Alarm Clock

  • Supporting slavery

If someone knew that a certain good was made with slave labour, then stopping the production of that commodity shouldn't be a problem. The problem only comes when we do not know whether a good is being produced by slave labour. And in that case, we have no reason to stop selling the good either. More about Supporting slavery

  • Rape convictions

Last post: Nick on 14.03.11 at 01:45 | Started by Nick on 08.05.07

"But it may result in the Police just arresting people with previous criminal records for suspected crimes, on the basis it will be easier to convict them again."

This is definitely one of the major drawbacks of this rule. And sadly it is already a reality.

"But should people get found guilty of rape on the basis they were previously guilty of burglary?"

If they expect a person to be reformed after prison, then why hold a previous crime for which they have already paid for against them? This actually sends a message, that 'people can't really change'. Once a criminal, always a criminal! And if that was the case, then they shouldn't release anyone from prison. Lets give all our prisoners life sentences. More about Rape convictions

  • Chinese on right track?

Last post: Nick on 14.03.11 at 01:45 | Started by Nick on 08.05.07

It is impossible to correct and change the emissions in a country like China. With a population so huge, emissions are bound to happen and unless they have a crazy amount of money to spend.. reforming is difficult! More about Chinese on right track?
