Best thing for me…. Running outside and through bush walks. Strap the iPod to the arm, and go. As simple as that. But key for these would be to create a playlist before I go to set the mood for the run and what I want to achieve. Do I want to relax and unwind- The Verve or something mellow. Do I want to push myself fitness wise- Hardhouse. Music makes my world go round and helps me get into the exercise zone. If I don’t have my tunes when I run, my mind ticks over way too much and I end up not enjoying my fitness. But I feel running out and surrounding yourself with nature are the best endorphins. Don’t need to pay for the gym when you have nature on your doorstep.

I just started running and am loving it. If I can't run for any reason I get grumpy. Love those endorphins.

I like Aerobics.Aerobic exercise is physical exercise of relatively low intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process. Aerobic literally means "living in air", and refers to the use of oxygen to adequately meet energy demands during exercise via aerobic metabolism.[3] Generally, light-to-moderate intensity activities that are sufficiently supported by aerobic metabolism can be performed for extended periods of time.

Just starting to get into Triathlon and Duathlon. Have completed a couple of very short distance tri events (300m swim, 9km bike and 3km run) and it is such a buzz. In training for a Standard distance duathlon (40km bike, 10km run) at the mo. Looking to increase the distances over the next couple of seasons, and who knows, maybe an ironman one day isn't out of the question. The great thing is that all of the events are age group based, so if you're a 45 year old with average fitness levels who works in an office all day, you aren't competing with 21 year old elite athletes.

Ooooh I know the buzz now that Ive done a duathlon, Im 32 and felt like a half dead fossil, quit smoking and thought now or never, sounds like you might have found your motivation too? Have you found any good sites with upcoming events?
