I know you should go every 12 months but the dentist scares the crap out of me...luckily I have strong teeth so I can put it off a bit longer

I think you should go once a year, but in reality - with the cost - we just go when there is something obviously wrong. I went the other week and got quite a shock and quite a bill!!!

Once every 12 -18 months, as long as you look after your mouth in between, will save huge bills later in life. There are also many 'daily deals' available on having an xray, clean and checkup for less than 100 bucks. Better be safe than sorry.

I think once a year at the most, or at least every two years. Its pretty expensive these days even for a check up but sometimes they have those GRAB ONE vouchers come up for dental treatment. If you go regularly, then you can get anything treated early, rather than leaving it until it gets really sore and really expensive to fix. Definitely important to look after your teeth. No one wants falsies!

Depends on whether you take good care of your teeth or not... for people who don't take enough care of their teeth, probably once every 3-6 months...

yeah if it was affordable go get your teeth cleaned every couple a months most dentists do a dam good job of cleaning your teeth, then they can pick up on any problems before they become major

Visiting the Dentist is just far too expensive which leads to neglect. If it was more affordable more people including myself would visit far more regularly.

Once a year unless your dentist has instucted otherwise should be suffice, unless of course you strike a problem in the meantime, soooo many people hold off going in when they first notice pain and by time the pain is so bad they have dragged themselves in the treatment and cost has escalated. I am guilty of this. Could have saved a tooth had i not held back from making that call.
