'Perfect Combination' is a unique insight to the youngest Olympic sport by a high energy action driven photographer.

BMX racing is a high energy high impact Olympic sport.  Clinton Tudor is a high energy commercial photographer based in Auckland.  He's been working on a book since 2009 which includes some of the fastest, most skilled riders on the planet.  His solo exhibition opens June 1 at T Whites Bikes as part of the Auckland Festival of Photography.

Clinton’s work gives a little insight into the world of BMX racing and what the riders are made of. BMX has always been a dangerous sport with riders putting themselves on the line every time they hit the gate. Now it is an Olympic sport and the tracks are more dangerous than ever.  It takes guts and sheer determination to rise to the occasion.

Kiwis are inherently tough, so it comes as no surprise that our riders excel in BMX.  We've just sent a 57 strong team to contest the World titles in Birmingham, including a record 14 riders in the elite field.

The photographs on show feature among others NZ Olympian Sarah Walker, tough BMX kids from up north as well as his own daughter.
