    Nope. Nuclear power is a can of worms that NZ scientists can not handle. Look at science NZ. 130,000 animals sufferred in Laboratories last year. Grown-up developed nations have moved a long way from animal testing. Our scientists are still in the dark ages. As demonstrated by Dr Newman. She is cute though in her tea-towel shirt.

    Yes nuclear power should be considered as an option for NZ, if wind farms and wave generation is going to do more harm than good then lets try nuclear.

    the articale forgets to mention the poison that is created and shiped to thrid world countries because the producers do not want it. there are far better way to generate power. when we get to having solar generaters on every building and still not enough power then they can sugest it. but first use the safe methods to their fullest first.
