Pan-Roasted Salmon with Wild Mushrooms

This was more an experiment in using Gordon Ramsay[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Ramsay]'s "curry salt" method of seasoning fish than a real recipe. Gordon Ramsay suggests using "curry salt" to season fish when pan-roasting or frying, because cooking fish quickly like this doesn't give it enough time to take

    Good one! Salmon is my favourite fish. Glad to hear that it isn't too affected by the curry flavour. Perhaps some finely chopped capsicum would be nice with the mushrooms?

    Simply devine - I whipped this up last night and managed to get it looking just like the photo. And believe me it tastes even better than it looks!

    WOW fab recipe .. and very versatile to change .. and quick to prepare and cook

    15mins was all it took from fridge to my mouth, I didnt have any curry salt ( in fact never heard of this stuff) so i just salt and peppered it and also added some oregano chopped up from my garden

    10/10 for easy to prepare and cook
    10/10 for taste sensation

    This recipe is bound to impress any1 you cook it for .. I ate alone for my trail run last night, now cant wait to have some guess around and show off my new cooking skills
