Kuroshio Sea
This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan. The main tank called the 'Kuroshio Sea' holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.
The music is "Please don't go" by Barcelona.

this is pretty amazing having this environment would be awesome in your own back yard...
-
i'm waiting for the glass to break - is that wrong :s-
kinda... but the choas! ..THE CHAOS!!! ..would be amazing in slo-mo ;)

-
This is amazing but the crap thing is that I have heard that becasue the whale sharks only eat plankton and we know very little else about them and thier life cycle, the ones in the aquarium only last between four months and about a year before they die. Guts. -
classic this is in japan. Seeing as how famously dedicated to conservation they are... -
Fantastic as it may be, is this what happens for future generations when the fish stocks are gone - we put them in an aquarium and say to the kids "look" this is what marine life looks like" The Japanese would be better served to conserve rather than observe! -
i bet you next door to this is a sea food restaurant
-
What i find interesting is that this is what most of the ocean looked like before we started fishing from it. -
I think this is just so beautiful to watch how peaceful
