With 2008's "Iron Man" a solid if uneven addition to Marvel's cinematic superhero legacy, there was the natural belief that a sequel could finally move past the setup phase and delve deeper into the characters and story while rustling up grander action set-pieces. That

More about Iron Man 2

  • Wow. Okay. I haven't seen Iron Man yet, but I saw the second one the other day (was dragged to it by my brother). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be lame, but I really liked it - it was funny, had action (some, maybe not enough, but still a decent amount), and kept me interested despite not really knowing the characters or the plot at the beginning. Maybe that's because I haven't seen Iron Man (number one), but I'll soon make a judgement on that one too as I have it sitting right beside me. But yeah, have to say that I actually thought it was really good... so I kinda disagree with this review :)

Never mind the film (although anything with Robert Downey Jr in it has got to be worth watching) get a load of that soundtrack. Essentially, AC/DC's Greatest Hits, all on one album. Thunderstruck, Evil Walks, Back in Black...dribble, dribble!
  • Darn good movie this...really glad they've kept the same spirit and utterly ironed out any kinks (sorry for the bad pun)
  • Raven says
I haven't seen Iron Man 2 and unfortunately the review doesn't make it sound worthwhile, which is a shame as Iron Man 1 was an enjoyable watch!

Perhaps I'll settle for playing the soundtrack over and over.
  • Iron Man 2 was an OK movie. Robert Downey Jr is a great actor in his portrayal of Tony Stark.
  • Twiza says
Great movie and definitely one that builds from the original… gotta love the side remarks made by the 'changeout' character!
  • Awesome movie! Special effects were amazing. And gotta love that iron man suit. Really built on iron man 1 as well.
  • story line wasaverage, CGI was great. The story should of highlighted more strength attributes of his character such as in part one, this would of delivered a an action packed-positive movie!
