    I don't think its possible that anyone else could carry the role of Dillinger with the same sense of style, passion and character as Depp. Almost anyone can dress up and look like someone, but Depp portrays Dillinger in every movement and expression. If anyone hasn't seen this film it is a MUST! Even though we all know the story I have to admit that a big part of me was hoping for a different ending. Thanks to GF for getting this interview.

    I really admire the way Depp gets into a role. But that he's able to take the piss out of himself too at times. I agree with the comments about his versatility and love that so many of his characters are kind of odd ball.

    I'm totally with Johnny on the style of Art Deco, I wish it was still acceptable to dress up like this outside of the the art deco weekend in Napier

    Wow, an era of style and sophistication. 3 piece suits, barmaids called Toots, wine from flutes all to be had from ill gotten loots.
    There's Jackie Gleason, Mickey Rooney, Marlon Brando etc. but when you put the "sexiest man" ie. Johnny Depp in the lead role, with such class, I can't help but feel he is the role model for the "underdog", "Robin Hood" and those of us that don't have much money, but can dream.
