    Hey now that's a cool idea - combining waffles and chocolate. I must try that out. Our waffle maker doesn't get enough use for sure. Something clever you can make for desert for friends after dinner. It doesn't have to restricted to the one you lust, oops I mean love, on valentine's day only.

    What I usually do when I find a nice deserty recipe is show it to The Husband with the words, "Hey look at this recipe I found." He understands and will make it for me! Great huh.

    I've tried a few variations with a waffle recipes that were out of this world delicious. Try throwing some chocolate chips and walnut pieces on top of the batter, before closing the waffle maker.

    Best I've ever had, Apple Waffles at the International House of Pancakes, in Flagstaff Arizona. October 1st, 1977. Memorable is an understatement.

    I made these waffles on Sunday in celebration of St Valentine - they were waffleicious. My Border Collie thought so too and decided to steal some off my plate while my head was turned!
