I just spent three days in one of my favorite cities – Buenos Aires. I was speaking to 2,000 executives about the future of brands in this tough economic environment, as well as catching up with the MBAs at the Universidad de Palermo[http://www.palermo.edu/].

More about Beautiful, Beautiful Buenos Aires

  • I haven't heard of Alvears Palace but since they have a french restaurant it must be good as I've heard french food is the best
  • I'll be honest and just say 'give me the camera"

    :-)
  • Sure, I'll take a couple of weeks there too. I've heard the views on the beaches are quite nice.
  • I spent 5 days in Buenos Aires 2 years ago..I wished I had taken a camera with me! I have no photos at all.. Some awesome, very european sights...and weird motor vehicles... a cross between american & euro ones.
I went to one tango lesson, and you must visit the cemetary there (one where Evita is buried) Lots of cats & old bones, situated next to a Hard Rock Cafe..(which I didn't visit)...must be the only haven for cats in a city with so many dogs!
Believe me when I say you just can't prepare for the smell of La Bocca! haha

  • There are no beaches in Buenos Aires Iain? About 4 hours drive away?
